The First Scrap Around The World

Hello to you all where ever you are around  in the world :)

It is Friday again and my son had his last day ever at 

shool today. After the half term break, it will only be exams

left for him to do.

I have a  LO as well to share with you today. I finally made 

my mind up how to interpet the Mood board and sketch

 over at this fantastic new challenge blog called

Scrap Around The World where the founder of the

blog Helen Tilbury has gathered scrappers from around

 the world to join the DT.

Here is my LO at The first Challenge at 

Scrap Around The World

I used papers from Maja Design ( they were a lovely gift and
I  just love these papers to bits)
Pennants are  a mix of Alison Kreft paper and little
tags I have made

 Doilies sprayedwith TA glimmermist  Rose Tea dye

Stencil with Gesso and blue acrylics

Different punches and metall wire

Flowers from Prima and Hobby craft

And the best thing is  I used Real Birch bark. It is very 

delicate and not east to handle as it rips very easy 

but since the photo looks like wearthered board

this was the opportunity to use it. I picked from a tree while in

Norway so it has had time to dry propperly

 On these 2 photos you can see how the bark curls
