Welcome to 2014... at Pixels and Paper

Happy New year every one!!!

...and welcome to 2014

The first challenge this year from Pixels and Paper gives us a warm

and summery feeling as it is Summer "Down Under"

...and it is nice to use a summer photo when making a LO

in January(well I made it in December , but you know what I mean)

...anyway here is my summery LO I made for 

Pixels and Paper for January

and this is the inspiration picture this month 

I got inspired by the children playing in the moving water, so I chose
 a photo of my niece and daughter playing by the sea where 
you can see the tiny waves on he surface, 
so  with AC pattern papers  "Sketch book" together with Dylusion spray ink
 I tried to recreate a summery day by the sea. 

....and I just love those cartoon like clouds I cut from one of the
"sketchbook" pattern papers
