ARTastic Inspirational Challenge Blog
is having their CTM Helene Bogren's work as their inspiraton
this month.
She was inspired by a Sweedish painter
Carl Otto Hulten
There was 3 options and I took the 3.
.....and here is how I got inspired
This time I started with the photos. I took a A4 shrink
plastic and measured 4x4 of the dimond shaps on
the back paper, cut 2 frames and heat shrinked for
so to attached the picture at the back of them.
I guess It was the 2 big dimond shapes on
Carl Hulten's painting that
started me on this LO,but instead of the empty
blackness I used the space for happy pictures :)
A dobble book side is dabbed and stamped with gesso when glued to
back paper. I drew orange dimonds on it and some greeen cheverons.
Orange and pink fine sisal was used under the pictures.
All paterned paper are from G45 Magic of Oz,
incl. the 3 little cut out tin men,
below is one of them ..
Flowers are of different origins
I'm not sure about the top left corner, but some buttons and a dimond shrink
plastic was added to a clock patterend paper which had a bit of gesso and
paint on first.
....And then i couldn't help my self I doodled a creature looking
down on the tin man, any way, it is stuck there now
so it all has to stay :P
Opinions and comments are very much appriciated
Thanks for stopping by :)
