VINTAGE in August

ScrappeHuset has  Vintage as the theme of August and the 

challenge is to use the sketch to complete

 the art work

This is the first time I have really tried to do a LO in

Vintage style as I normally like colourful projects,

anyway here is my take on it

As this is was my first attempt on Vintage I realized I didn't have 

a lot of flowers and bling and stuff so lucky as I am I had a few 

goodie bags from blog challenges,waiting for me when I went

 to Norway, and a very good friend always has something 

new for me when I visit her, so now back home in England

this has come to my rescue :) 

Needless to say, it was a must  to do some online shopping 

right after I was done with this one lol

I strated with a darker 12x12 craft which I "fried"/burnt 

around the edges for so to attach to a lighter craft.

Here I have made a mini scroll from an old book page 

and used florist string to tie around it.

I used an edge punch to decorate around the photo

A few mini stamps was used as well on a tag 

and on the dark craft

I can see know when loading the photos on to the 

blog page that there are light shadows, so i might 

take some new ones when I get my photo tent :)

Tomorrow I'm going to pick up my over night 

order which was delivered to a friends house

today, knowing that I wasn't going to be  home 

when arriving, and waiting to Monday would be 

far toooo looong to wait for it  :P
