Black and White at ARTastic in July

Hello everyone, I hope you had a great weekend :)

July has been such an exciting month with so much happening,
including moving back to Norway,
 so  the last couple of weeks has been busy  :P
 I do appologize for my abcens in your commenting boxes,
but I have been popin' in visiting your blogs from time to time
to see what is happening "out there"
in the big world of scrapbooking :)

Today I have some more news  to share
It is my first DT reavel over at ARTastic Challenge blog
and here is my LO
Criteria –black and white with one feature color

            Lorraine Lewitzka and her husband Terry have been
             teaching oil painting and watercolours in Victor Harbour,
           South Australia  for many years. 

 Both multi-award winners,
       Terry specializingand watercolour landscape.
           He also teaches creative drawing techniques for life
drawing and other subjects. 

Lorraine teaches watercolour,
mixed media portraits and figurative subjects.

                 I was  still in recycling mode  from June when I made this,
            so I "dug out" 8 old clothe  tags and some other old tags
               and stash I have kept at  the bottom of a drawrer.    

            I found some old B&W papers too, and a big thanks to Lizzy for

               the gauze/cheese cloth. It was perfect for this together with some 

                black lace trimmings. I used red as featured colour and added a few 

red TH die- cut gears and tree

 

some hand stitching with white Distress Marker around the

edges, and black on the gears

 

 

 

The tree was painted with Distress cracle paint
