It is July 10th( my daughters Birthday today)
and a new Impuls challenge is out
over at Scraphaugen (running until July 31st)
and it is all about Banners and Bunting this month.
I have been using Photos from
Port Isaac ...Doc Martin's Port Wenn
to go with the summery and perhaps maritime
style as well using different types of
Banners and Buntings.
I started this double LO at a local Scrap club,
with out having any photos,
over at Maze of Memories a few weeks back using the
sketch ideas made by Christina, but as alwasy, as she
said to the others "don't look at hers"...( meaning mine lol)
..."she always make it into her own"
and so I did again ;) lol!

I didn't think when I took the photos of the LOs I have made
into a double page,
placeing the pages on the wrong side of eachother,
anyway, below is what they look like separately
The photo on the outside of the mini book above, is of a
little road sign posted at the bottom of the hill below where
Doc M's house is, but when you get there( 3rd from right
on the LO below lol ) the poor people how lives
there have had to put up a chain fence to keep people
away from peeking through the windows.
Who said it's Fun to be Famous,
even though it is just your house and home ;)
I made this hanging bunting of left over paper and added
these cute little fish I bought in a bead shop in St.Ives

Here is my on top of the page bunting, using cut out
stamped clouds
stamped clouds
Here is my "wet" beach cloths banner/bunting
and ofcourse, below, Doc Martin
souverniers ready to be bought everywher in the village.
I only took photos of them lol
So if you like banners and bunting why not join in on the Fun,
over at Scraphaugen
maybe using holiday photos or photos from celebrations
and create your own banners and bunting page.
Would love to see what you come up with.
You have until July 31st.
Thanks for taking time to stop by my blog,
it is very much appreciated
Wish you all a wonderful day :)
