ARTastic June 2015 Wood Veneer and/or Birds : A Vintage TAG

I hope you had a great weekend with some spare time to do 
scrappbooking or other paper crafts.

What do you think about our  ARTastic challenge picture  this month?
 For me it is" how can you not be inspired by this?" 
it's such a fun and delightful piece of Art.

Here is the tag I made for  ARTastic CT
June Challenge: Wood veneer and/or Birds

Inspired : by  Bird King by Luka Va

and this is the backside  of the tag with space for a sentiment

It was of course the birds and the wood that inspired me,
 and also  to make a tag  this time with space for a sentiment. 
 To follow  the  criterias, I have been using birchbark and 
wood veneer hearts and papers with bird pattern 

Here are 3 close ups of the front of the tag

Birchbark is such a fab material to work with
and gives a nice soft texture

 and here below are 3 from the revers side

I just fell in love with this gorgeous bird pattern paper
