MAY/JUNE CHALLENGES

A Maze of Memories is not just a Blog but a fantastic scrap and card store filled with
everything your heart desire of papers, stamps, blings, ribbons, and little things you never
thougth of using on you paper creations.
I love this place for its card and scrap club they have several times every months to make sure atleast one
of the times will suit just YOU. There are also challenges every  month and  for
May to next scrap club in June  it is
Scrap Lifting.
You will find the original one on the blog http://s187244897.websitehome.co.uk
under scrap lift or here :

This month Papir Pikene  has a colourfull challenge I  like and thought would be nice to enter as well. They have a fab internett shop worth a visit. http://www.papirpikene.blogspot.co.uk/
I was inspired by the colours on the icecreams and the farm picture which allso worked well with
the scrap lift. Here you will find Papirpikenes Verden Challenge #4
 http://papirpikenesverden.blogspot.no/2012/06/utfordring-4.html

Here is the LO I'm entering with
On white Bazzill I used Flitter Glu on a text stamp  and covered with Lancashire Rose
MEGA-Flake, which gave me the nice golden multicoloured  background effect I wanted.
Yellow and red  Tattered Angels mist spray, a few other flower stamps.  I Made my own "bricks"
using black and aged mahogany Distress Markers.
A few different boarders and a strip of measuring tape.
A few wooden butterflies and chicken and finished of with small paper strip from October Afternoon
using a stapler to attach it for a rogust effect.

The photo is of Tirill when visiting DairyLand Farm in Cornwall last summer, here on a big train
in the playground. So I thought the text MOO MOO Train suited the photo from a dairy farm, and work well with the inspiration photos.

Below are a few close up photos.

So Cute Surprise #4 (del 3)

Her er den siste av
That's Just So Cute So cute Surprise #4
 sine utfordringer i April.
Teip her ,teip der, Teip i vei
The last of 3 challenges ,Tape here and Tape there.
A few days back
I went to a local scrap club, organized by  Christina, at A Maze Of Memories which is an
amazing store filled with every thing your heart desire if you are into scrapbooking
and card making. Each month has a new theme. This month it is stamping.
When you get there you have at least 4-5 different packs og papers to choose from, and a sketch
is also provided with a step by step for those who like that, or just use the sketch as an inspiration.
It didn't take long into my prodject before I realized that this was going to be
the LO for the  That's Just So Cute  challenge using tape.
Here is my entry project
The tape which is visible on  the picture below is the 3 flowers around the photo and 1 flower on the
top right ,but only the stem shows, all made out of tissue tape from Tim Holtz.
On this photo below the whole of the last flower is showing
On this final photo I pushed the tag away to reveal the hidden tape which is has
a measuringtape pattern  on and I used 3 small strips to create a writing surface
for journaling.
I used green Bazzill and decorated with cog wheel pattern using a TH mask "painted" with
Flitter Glue and Mega Flake, Lancashire Rose, from Indigo Blue
I love this effect :)))

A background tissuepaper from Bazzill called Antique script, not sure of the origin
of the other papers.
I used a sheet of thin cork to die cut the CREATE letters, and all
colourings are Distress Ink and all stamps are from various TH collections
