LGS December Special, week 5 MonoChromatic

Happy last Monday of 2014
I hope you papercrafting  ladies (and gents?) from all around the
world have had a nice time during the holidays :)
It is only a few times a year we have 5 Mondays in a month,
and December is one of them, so over at Let's Get Sketchy
we are doing Monochromatic as our theme for week 5.

I went for all white....using a B&W photo of my son taken in
the Swiss mountain of Fischeralp, at last year October holiday.
...but as you can see white comes in different shade of blue tones
and yellow tones
As it is winter here in Norway
we don't get propper day light in December, and I took
these photos of my page out in the snow with -8 degrees Celsius

...here are some close ups
( you can see some of the snow on the veranda under my page ;)

There are some really aweseome  monochromatic page
to see this week , made by the talented
LGS ladies.

Runde 4 i Farge cupen

It is PINK this week in the challenge at Scraphaugen.
You can create any thing you like in Pink or the main
impression should be in pink to qualify
Here is my PINK entry
Girlies... Pretty in Pink
Tirill and my best friends doughter dressed in pink
"street fashion" and wiggs. This picture is from Norway when we
visited my friend this sommer.
Background paper is Posh  Pink Fishnet
fromTeresa Collins(2011)
Did som stamping with gesso on it.
A paper doily  with  pink glimmermist and some gauze
I made a small bow of pink organza and some more to drape on
the left side but hardly visible on the photos
Film strip washi tape from DEPOT in Switzweland
Grungeboard swirls and arrows stamped with Distress Ink
and markers all from TH.
The frame is from "Nille" and
Some more blings and a Paris tag. The butterflies are
made of glass coming from the local florist shop
here in Buckingham, I just love that shop! You can allways find
bits and bobs in there to use for scrapbooking or cards

Have nice and colourful week :)

Fargecup 3. Utfordring

3rd round of Farge cup at Scraphaugen is to make
something in purple or where the main impression is
purple
Here is how I got inspired
The photo is taken when my mom was visiting in July, and we went
to Stowe Gardens/School only 5 min drive from where I live,
to watch when BBC's Antique Roadshow made a program up there
In the Purple frame is a cut out logo from the Antique
Road show magazine we were given when we got there
All flowers are from Prima except the metal ones
Some Papers are from G45,  Stamped and inked doilies
Laces in purple and white, cracle paint on stars
and a few butter flies from Craft Accessories
Lace punch from Fiskars
The colours on the Pictures of the LO dosn't come out the
same on any of them, not sure why :?
Have a Fab weekend every one, and thaks for stopping by :)
