Lessology Challenge #46: Typeface

Hello to you ladies  from all corners of the world.
It is time again for a new monthly challenge over at
LESSology
Where the criteria is to have a play with different fonts,
using at least one upcycled item.

I altered a box of chocolate toffees into
an Easter decoration filled  with  yummy "goodies"
I know Easter is over but there are still some
toffees left ;)

Just a few sneak peeks....

.....here is the  chocolate box before

Here you can see one of  my upcycled item,
a plastic sheet for  keeping Easter  epoxy stickers.
The "Happy Easter" one, on this photo above,
was on this plastic sheet  before I stamped on it  with
differen fonts, (and a typewriter) using black StazOn

To see some more, please pop over to
LESSology
and you can join in on our challenge too.

Thank you soooo much for taking time  to  stop by today,
it really means a lot to me :)

Lessology Challenge #43: Cardboard Central

Hello everyone,
Today I want to shear some Exciting News....
A new year with lots of new and creative opportunities

It is Challenge #43: Cardboard Central
to use cardboard in a creative way,
and for me it is my first blogpost at LESSology and I'm
thrilled to part of such a fun and creative team where
Upcycling is in focus.
We have started this year with a Cardboard challenge
and I upcycled an empty Pringles Crisp box
into this Chocolate gift box

these Pringles tube boxes are brilliant for upcycling
and alterations

even the lid can be "stashed up"  to look
a bit more decorative
I use heated glue for decorating the lid as it is made of plastic

I have also used some  Birch bark peel off,  from our
firewood, as decoration as it has a natural curl to it.
( it is cold in Norway this time of the year and we use renewable
heating resources like firewood and hydro electric power
as we have plenty of waterfalls and large forests of pine, fir and spruce trees,
just incase you are concerned  about deforesting)

A piece of corrugated cardboard was upcycled with a
paintover with some  white acrylic paint and some old pearls in a
a "save it for a rainyday" box was put into the mini glass bottle
to give it an extra bling

I use the metal wire cut offs, from the paper flowers, as embellishments.
Give it a swirl and " fill in the gaps"

Upcycling is a great way to help to preseve our planet in a creative way
and LESSology is the place to show your makings.
Come and join in on our fun and creative challenges.

Thank you for stopping by today and leaving a comment.
It is very encouraging to read them all :)

Toffee as Last minute Christmas (Sweets) present with a Sparkle

Happy Friday  around the world ...it is weekend and
the 13th Day of Christmas preparation,
so todayI have a last minute gift idea  to share with you...
It dosn't take long to put together if you are like me
and always have a few pre made diecuts in a box.
I always make sure I have a small stock
of each, especially  like now before Christmas
a small stock of your favourit sweets is neede too ;)

mine is
and it is perfect to make a quick gift

It dosn't take more than 15-20 min to make

It's just to wrap and glue the paper around the box
and add some embelishments to the precut diecuts
I like this box as you can refill it with a new tray, so the
gift box it self will last "forever" if it is  treated nice ;)

I used a strip of  birch bark, I peeled of some fire wood,
as part of the embellishment and
VOILA...a present to go

Enjoy!

I am also entering my box to the Sweedish Challenge blog
ALLT OM SCRAP
This month it is about Glitter, Glimmer/ Sparkling and Glow
Please visit their fantastic blog. Soon it will be able to follow
with English translation.

Thanks for stopping by today
and taking time to leave a comment during these busy days
