LGS September 2015 Team A week 1 Autumn in the Air...

Hi there... and Happy new Monday :)
Has the Autumn reach you yet? It  certainly skipped over
the summer at my part of the world and went straight from spring to
a even more wet and cold autumn/fall.
Anyway here is my fall inspired LO made for
Week 1 in September over at
Let's Get Sketchy

I flipped the sketch once to the left

looking like this ....

and this is the original sketch made by Brenshevia

some details too...
the photo is of the kids having fun in an old telephone box,
which has been converted into a village library in a small village
just out side of Buckingham.
it  became a "button page" inspired by the button flowers
on the sketch
...and some more details ;)

So if the Autumn, or Fall if you like, has come to your corner of
the world, why not join in on our challenge at
Let's Get Sketchy

Thanks for stoping by and leaving a comment :)
Wish you a fun and creative week  :)

ARTastic in March 2015

Hi there
It is  mid March  and it is time for the second  team reveal
over at ARTastic
This month we feature a delightful work by Barbara Hanrahan
called The Dog, the Cat,
and here  below is my interpretation of the
inspiration picture

It was the colours and patterns that inspired me
to make this LO  with this photo of my kids,
taken at Lizard Point  in Cornwall.
It was such a blustery day where the rain
came in sideways from the sea...
but oh my word how much fun we had :)

CRITERIA - please use a quote or saying

...and here is my saying

I love the mix of secondary colours together, and it works
so well on a mixed media page.

these litte wooden cameras are so cute and
can be coloured to fit on any type of page, card
or other paper projects

I bought these little cog wheels in a small
bead and pearls shop in St. Ives in cornwall,
so what better page to use them on than this one...

I hope you will pop over to ARTastic  to see
the first reveal in March as well, and what the
talented DT  ladies has come up with.

Thanks for stopping by today :)

Doodling at ARTastic in November

Happy Saturday :)  :)  :)

Are you ready for something "new"? and
want to try out something  different ?
Over at ARTastic this month it is all about Doodling.
If you want to see some fun stuff and get some inspiration,
ARTastic is the place and the Creative Team has made some
awesome LOs

Here is my page

...and here is the inspiration picture

As it is getting nearer to summer "down under" I chose to make
a colourful and summerly page inspired by the doodling from
 the inspiration picture.
I doodled my own background and used patterned paper
(Amy Tangerine Sketchbook)
with doodle pattern and left the page clean and simple.

...and just a few closies

All papers and stickers are Amy Tangerin Sketchbook
(one of my absolute favourites)
So if you want to have some fun with doodling?
Come and join in, and show us your creative side.

Thanks for visiting and leaving a treace as a comment.
Wish you all a Happy creative weekend :)

Let's Get Sketchy Team A October week 3

October is Halloween time and it is only 2 weeks until
we can scare the neighbourhood with
 Trick or Treats

Over at Let's Get Sketchy it is a new sketch reveal this week
and it is Team A who is up, showing
 some pretty awesome pages

here is my page

...and here is the sketch inspiration
made by Bev

The photos on my page are both of my DD Tirill
The bigges photo is from 2011 before we went out for Trick or Treat
(when living in England)
The smallest is from 2004 when Tirill was in Pre school
at the British school in Stavanger Norway.
It was kind of fun to find both these 2 old photos, using one
from when she was little and one from when she is  a bit older
...and oh my... they grow up far to quickly ;)

and here are some closies too
I have used my Gelli Printing Plate
when I made the back ground.
I was soooo lucky when my Amerian cousin visited some weeks
back. She brought with here the big 14x12 printing plate
which you cannot get here in Norway.

So if you want to join in, just pop over to LGS,
get inspired
and have some fun with the sketch

Thanks for stopping by and taking time
to leave a comment. I love reading them all :)

Cream Tea Inspired at Pixels&Paper in October

Cream Tea in an English Tea Room
A BIG dollop of  Cornish cloted cream on top of
"home made" strawberry jam.....coz that is the Cornish way...
cloted cream on top,  to "show off" that you use the real stuff
on your scones....
not like in Devon or rest of England ( ;) where jam is on top lol
anyway...(as I am getting hungry ;) lol
Here you see the best Cream Tea ever...in Port Isaac
in Cornwall, Treasured on my DT Page made for
Please come and visit, it is soooo worth
to see the display of the other DT members work of art.

Inspired by this months inspiration  picture....
....which reminded me of Cornish Cream Tea.
oh yeah...some closies too ;)

 A hidden tag i a mini envelope

all papers are Tilda Spring Time from Panduro.

as this little tile says: this is the best part of my day,
I promise you these scones was the best ever....still a bit warm
from straight from the oven and  melting in our mouths
yummy!!!!

I hope you will get the chance to play along with us at Pixels and Paper.
Any paper craft, digis too, is submittable as long as it is new.
Thank you for stopping by and leaving a treace,
it means the world to me.

It is fabric in August at ARTastic

Oh lala... it is a new creation criteria out over at
It is to use fabric in some way on your layout.
It is all about Fabrics ...so bring it out...
adding fabric can be as simple as using ribbons,
lace, fabric covered buttons or fabric flowers
...mix and match the choice is yours :)
Here is my page

The inspiration picture shows an old caravan,
so it made me think of the old long boat at Stoke Bruerner museum
where you can come along for a boat trip
up  the Grand Union Canal to the Blisworth tunnel.
So with a photo of the kids in the boat and
some material from a pair of old jeans, I had what I needed to start.
So if you have some old or new fabric, have fun and
be creative and come and  join in with our challenge :)

some details too

A hidden journal tag

The Artastic CT has made some fantastic creations using
fabric on their LOs, why not pop over and see for your self
Thanks you for stopping by and taking time to leave a comment
